The Un-Millionaires

Here's a great story that illustrates the biblical sense of generosity and charity. Mr. Hal Taussig and his wife Norma live humble lives of dependence on God's grace, resulting in modest means for them, but lasting blessings from him onto thousands of poor folk. All without the help of a rich endowment to support their philanthropy.

“It wasn’t a vow of poverty, I didn’t do anything like that,” said the Taussig, according to the United Methodist News Service. “I said I’m never going to have any money in the bank … or have anything in my name. And whatever’s left over at the end of the month, whatever’s left over, get rid of it,” he said.

Here's a Round Table salute to Sir Hal and Lady Norma Taussig, living the life of Christ in a way they understand much better than most.

Sir Chuck, the Humbled
